Vermont is a small seaside holiday resort adjoining Onrus, ten minutes from Hermanus. Literally on the beach is the delightful Windswael, this is the most perfect place to watch the whales when they visit each year. There are glorious walks in the fynbos. Visit the southernmost tip of Africa and unspoilt old Moravian mission stations. Horse riding.  Several cellars in the area produce excellent wines. Golf, tennis and squash. Dive in a cage among great white sharks, view penguin and seal colonies.
