Mpumalanga was established in the later part of 2003. This beautiful farm
called Klipsteen situated amongst the beautiful valleys of the misty
Steenkampsberg Mountains in Mpumalanga was developed to its full

Falls is surrounded by indigenous forests, awe inspiring waterfall, and
amazing birdlife will set the ambiance that will leave guests totally
relaxed and at peace in the tranquillity of nature.

Trout
River Falls provide four star luxury accommodation that include 8-2 bed
chalets with on-suite bathrooms that are elegantly decorated to provide
ultimate comfort and relaxation to our guests. Spectacular views of the
Poplar Trees, our natural trout fishing dams, indigenous forests and
mountains can be enjoyed from the wooden veranda of each chalet. Our
chalets are fully equipped including satellite TV, Fireplace, Mini-bar,
Coffee and Tea and private braai facilities adjoining to each chalet.
Chalets are serviced daily and ensure that guests are completely rested
upon returning home. Breakfast and lunch can be served in the dining room
or outside in the tea garden overlooking the beautiful surroundings.
Light meals and refreshments are available at any time during the day,
and served with the compliments of our qualified waiters and
distinguished chef.
Trout
River Falls consists of 5 natural well stocked natural feeding trout
dams and a 2km river stretch of the Dorpsriver that will provide
excellent trout fly fishing opportunities for both young and old. We
facilitate a generous re-stocking program to ensure that dams are
constantly stocked and that our valued guests enjoy the abundance of
trout available for the catch. For our non-fishing guests there
is an abundance of scenery, birdlife, indigenous forest and wild
flowers, mountain hiking trails or enjoy a picnic at our romantic
waterfall. Excellent 18 hole Golf Course at Lydenburg. Horse
riding at the Coromandel estate. Take a drive through the Kwena basin.
Take the scenic Long Tom pass to Sabie, pass the Highest point in the
area at 2150metres above sea level, visit the Mac Mac falls, as well
as 5 falls in the area, get to Graskop and walk to Gods Window, see
the Blyde River Canoyn. continue on to Pilgrims Rest, (120km from TRF)
then drive back on the R533 to Trout River Falls, ready to go fishing
in the early evening.
