Accommodation is in eight, comfortable three-bedded wooden cottages each with TV, Mnet, air-con and private veranda. The atmosphere is true Natal bushveld with parkland lawns interweaving through indigenous veldgrass leading to a unique rock swimming pool. All around the lodge flat-topped acacias spread shade. Birding paths criss-cross the 9ha farm and antelope roam the veld.

Comfortable accommodation is offered in eight, three-bedded air-conditioned wooden cottages. Each is fully equipped with high-quality appliances including stove, microwave, fridge and a full range of quality cooking utensils and crockery. All linen is provided – bring only your food. On the TV SABC and Mnet is offered. Each cottage is fully serviced excepting on Sundays. The spacious, charmingly decorated cottages offer three comfortable single beds. A dinning/sitting area and a private veranda overlooking the bushveld. Cottages with either a bath or a shower are available. There are lapas and braai areas between the cottages. When booking, select your preference for a shower or a bath.

The city has gone to great lengths to maintain it’s predominantly Victorian/Edwardian character and standing out among the many red-brick Victorian and Edwardian is the City Hall – one of the largest all-brick buildings in the Southern Hemisphere. Bring the local history alive by taking one of the self-guided Town Trails. The surrounding areas offers many tourist routes such as: The Battle Fields. The Majestic Drakensberg. Country Routes like the Midlands Meander, Boston Beat, the Sakabula Circuit and the Sani Saunter.
