a fenced-in swimming pool. Sedgefield is situated in the heart of the
Garden Route, nestling between pine covered hills, beautiful beaches and
magnificent lakes. The picturesque town is a nature lover's paradise
offering the visitor rich and varied bird-life with over 250 listed
species to be viewed along many hiking trails and boat trips.

The
Sedgefield Arms is a luxury resort of self-catering cottages and
apartments, spaced amongst manicured gardens that offer all of the
comforts of warmth and friendliness in traditional style. Delicately
furnished and fully equipped with the convenience of modern appliances
that make self-catering a pleasure, our accommodation inspires rest while
promoting enjoyment. “Bed and Breakfast” or exclusively reserved
non-smoking apartments are also available. The Sedgefield Arms
Restaurant, with fully licensed pub and fenced-in swimming pool is at the
heart of the complex and is ideal for functions and banquets of up to 50
people inside and another 30 people outside in the garden area furnished
with bench-table seating and umbrellas.
Located
between Knysna and George with the beaches on one side and the pine
tree forest on the other side lies the town of Sedgefield. The village
provides the perfect atmosphere in which to relax, have a sundowner on
the shores of the lake, or to take a stroll along the beach at sunset.
Swartvlei is the largest natural inland saltwater lake in South
Africa. A number of resorts are located on its banks and the
tranquillity and beautiful views of mountains and lakes are second to
none. Beaches and the estuary offer the bather and angler leisurely
days of sunbathing and fishing, as well as spearfishing at Gericke's
Point.
