The Graskop Hotel is centrally situated on the Mpumalanga Escarpment at the start of the Panorama Route. On our doorstep you have the famous Pinnacle Rock, God's Window and the historical town of Pilgrim's Rest. The hotel itself has 19 rooms in the main hotel, and a lovely garden wing (15 rooms) set amongst herb beds and shade trees. There's a pool, outdoor verandas, a coffee shop, a seriously trendy bar (think Cognacs and intercontinental chatter) and an Internet Café in the courtyard. Some of the hotel's collection is for sale - but it's a short amble round the corner to the adjoining Delagoa Arts Crafts centre (owned by Harrie and Willem), which has everything you could ever want on the arts and crafts front, be it a wooden giraffe, a wire lampshade or a snake-lines walking stick. The shop is huge; one foreign guide book called it 'the best selection, best quality and best value for money' art and crafts centre in the country; and you should probably save going there till last there's plenty to do in and around Graskop

Within a radius of about 50km from Graskop Hotel you can visit many of the Master Landscape Gardener's work including The Pinnacle, God's Window, Wonder View, Lisbon and Berlin waterfalls, Bourke's Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon (Reputed to be the third largest in the world), Forest Falls (which requires a short hike), Jock of the Bushveld's memorial site, Mac Mac Falls, Mac Mac Pools, Lonecreek Falls, Bridal Vale and Horse-shoe Falls amongst other spectacular sites. There are many walks and hikes in and around Graskop. Because of its mountainous terrain Graskop is a cyclists paradise. There are many trout fishing sites and streams in the area. And for more energetic! Set in the historic and beautiful surroundings of Pilgrim's Rest, is a well maintained 9 hole golf course.
