Wake
up to birdsong from the lovely natural gardens which flow unobstructed
into the surrounding Fynbos countryside. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast while
you take in splendid views and crisp mountain air. The Armagh offers five
rooms, each with its own en suite bathroom, tea and coffee making
facilities, lounge area and superb views of the Tsitsikamma Mountain
Range. Each room has private and direct access to the gardens, which flow
unobstructed to the nature conservation areas of forest and fynbos which
surround the guesthouse. The famous big tree is an easy stroll from your
patio through the forest, with the beaches of Plettenberg Bay and Natures
Valley a short drive down the road.
The breathtaking Tsitsikamma National Park is just a 10 minute drive
away with swimming and great hikes. Tsitsikamma National Park is also
Africa's oldest and largest marine reserve, playing a vital role in
the preservation and conservation of marine fauna and flora. Tourists,
and particularly hikers, from all over the world visit Tsitsikamma and
Storms River Mouth for its rugged, unspoilt coastline – a
photographer's dream. Tsitsikamma has many wonderful scenic hiking
trails of which it is justifiably proud. Storms River Adventures offers
many adventure activities in the area such as Black Water Tubing,
Kloofing and many others.
