Situated nearby are the Battlefields of Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift, to which guided tours can be arranged.

Three double bedrooms, one with an additional single bed, and one adjoining a twin bedded room forming a family suite.   All offer tea & coffee making facilities and en-suite bathrooms all with underfloor heating. Enjoy a hearty Farm breakfast on the verandah overlooking one of the dams, and watch the Egyptian Gees, Guinea Fowl and other bird life frolicking in the waters, only footsteps away.  Good home cooking is served in a relaxed family atmosphere. Relax around a roaring log fire on winter evenings after a days fishing, hiking, or simply lazing about, or enjoy satellite TV in the TV lounge.

Hiking Trails:   Enjoy the tranquil serenity and beauty of the area Luxury B&B Hiking Trails:  Overnight accommodation at Balbrogie Country House & Thatcher's.  Guided scenic hike with scrumptious 3 course luncheon laid out en-route. Horse Riding Trails:  Explore the area on horseback or go for picnic rides in the country, or do the Luxury Hiking Trail on horseback. Fishing:  Trout and bass fishing is available in private dams.
