The
B&B is set in a peaceful, bird-filled, sub-tropical garden, across the
lawn and pool from the main farmhouse. From your room, you look onto a
wooden deck, rock pools and up the Pongola River. All activities are
arranged through Shayamoya Game Lodge, which is also owned by the
Blevins. It is certainly worth a trip up to the lodge for not only the
nosh, but also the wild view and an encounter with Nandi, the spotted
eagle owl who sometimes pops in.
