Each suite has a patio, overlooking a beautiful swimming pool. They are an extension of our Victorian family home, but are completely separate with their own private entrance. The suites are approached along a secluded, lavender-lined lane leading to the swimming pool. Guests are welcome to use the swimming pool, and braai facilities are available. You can also use our mountain bikes to explore the picturesque village and its surrounds.

Sunny Lane - Accommodation in Franschhoek, Western Cape, South AfricaThe two-roomed suite has a spacious lounge with an open-plan kitchen, a double bedroom and full bathroom en-suite with bath and shower. The lounge has a sleeper couch, ideal for children or another adult. The one-roomed suite consists of a bedroom, with kitchenette and bathroom (shower only). The bedroom's French doors open out onto a private patio/garden which has lovely views. Both suites are fully equipped with towels, white cotton linen, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, TV with M-Net, Iron & Ironing board, Radio, Fan, Tea/coffee and Oven. In the winter months, undertile heating keeps the rooms beautifully warm.

This is a valley rich in history with spectacular vineyards covering the mountain slopes settled 300 years ago by the Huguenots who brought with them their age-old French wine and food culture. Within the village you can discover the wonderful craft, art & antique shops and galleries or indulge yourself at the Chocolate Factory Shop. Huguenot Street is also lined with a variety of restaurants and coffee shops and has the famous monument and museum to visit as well. Golf is also an option at the various spectacular courses nearby your hosts will gladly assist with your reservations. There is hiking, climbing, fishing, heritage & flora tours, paragliding, tennis, helicopter rides, cycling, bowls, picnics, vineyard tours and cellar tours, wine tasting and cheese tasting. It's the perfect base for daily sightseeing, and Cape Town International Airport is only a 45 minute drive.
