Accommodating a maximum of ten guests, exclusivity and personalised service are hall marks of this intimate camp. Sublime cuisine and walk-in underground wine celler compliment the informal atmosphere. Shumbalala Game Lodge caters a sumptuous cuisine prepared by a well-trained chef. Meals are taken either on the lodge decks positioned to ensure scenic vistas or by candlelight in more formal surroundings in the main dining room accompanied by a crackling fire in winter. Open-air fireside dinner is an occasion, and an opportunity to share your experience.

Shumbalala Game Lodge's qualified and experienced ranger and trackers are ever present accompanying you on early morning and afternoon / evening game drives. Bush walks are also undertaken to please the more adventurous. A safari in this unspoilt reserve is shared with an abundance of birds and wild life as they roam the Savannah and riverine forests. Close encounters of a different kind' are the experiences that will linger in your memory long after your visit to Shumbalala. The Big Five, Cheetah, smaller game and birds of prey are encountered at close range. The Leopard, considered by many to be the most prized sighting, are often encountered.
