At Serendipity Guest House you will experience true serenity and comfort under our thatched roof in a home surrounded by a pluch, indigenous, forest garden. We are situated in the leafy suburb of Birdswood which is close to the airport and the CBD. The guest House is a double storey thatched house and consists of six en-suite rooms, all with airconditioning, television and radios. Book your generous South-African Style dinner and enjoy it in the dining room. A full English Breakfast is served after helping yourself to the healthy things on offer at the buffet table.

There are a variety of 6 rooms to choose from, all en-suite with fresh bath towels, television and aircon. Wake up to a full English or Continental breakfast in the dining room area and finish your day with a hearty meal, available upon request. Covered secure parking are availible to our guests. Patio with braai area.

Guests may be tempted to take a dip in the refreshing waters of our spacious swimming pool, or enjoy a relaxing game of golf at the nearby Richards Bay Country Club. Both the Umfolozi and Hluhluwe Game Reserves, home to the elusive Black Rhino, are within a picturesque one and a half hours drive. Also in close proximity to the Richards Hotel are St Lucia Estuary and Shakaland. For the fishing enthusiast, we can arrange a personalised deep-sea fishing charter or trawling cruise in the harbour. The nearby beaches are protected by shark nets and life guards are in attendance on week-ends.
