think of everything that will satisfy your every need in comfort, design
and furnishings. Two luxury family units of various designs, and a
bedroom with en-suite bathroom/shower, are yours to enjoy during your
stay with us. They are self-contained and secure in a peaceful and
tranquil garden filled with birdsong. A healthy breakfast is served in
the rooms or in the main homestead with your farming hosts. Hospitality

It
is a natural watercourse, with dams in places, in the upper catchment of
the North Sand River. The lower end of the sanctuary is a classic example
of tropical indigenous forest with many smaller plant species and
abundant birdlife. The sanctuary is home to over 500 tree ferns (Alsophylla dregeana), some of which tower nearly 5 meters high. It
is one of the finest collections of this species in the country. The site
is also part of the Jock of the Bushveld Conservancy. The farm itself is
run as a commercial operation where avocados, ginger, flower bulbs, protean
and various exotic berries are grown for the export market. The
guests are encouraged to discover the daily farming operations for
themselves by going walk-about. As we are situated on a high feature in
the Lowveld overlooking the Kruger National Park, the climate is mild
with summer temperatures seldom rising above 25 degrees Celsius. This is
a great advantage in the summer months when temperatures in the Lowveld
can be unbearably high. All the Lowveld tourist attractions, including
the Kruger National Park, Lowveld Botanical Gardens, Sabie, Graskop,
Pilgrims Rest, God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon,
Sudwala Caves and other attractions are within easy reach.
