with long views over the Sabie River Valley. Rissington Inn – the

strategically situated 35kms east of Sabie and 17km west of the Kruger
National Park, midway between the spectacular scenery of the great
escarpment and the world-famous game lodges - a town on a crossroads,
where six major roads, all leading to different tourist attractions,
converge. The thatched homestead has long views over the Sabie river
valley and offers individually furnished en suite guestrooms.
Spectacular birdlife, a sparkling pool and sundowners on the verandah
capture the spirit of Africa.

The
restaurant can seat approximately 30 people. We have an extensive à la
Carte Menu with wonderful soups, an array of interesting starters, a
variety of trout dishes, fine curries, the best fillet steak in the land
and a range vegetarian dishes. The sitting room is situated next to the
restaurant - perfect for coffee after dinner. There is also a television
for the sports fan (or the soap addict) and a library of books on a wide
range of topics and in a number of languages. The rooms at Rissington Inn
all have their own individual styles and have en suite bathrooms and a
full range of facilities.
Sub-tropical
Hazyview offers a year-round climate for visitors and is the perfect
base to explore the scenic wonders of the escarpment.A healthy farm
breakfast will set you up for the day or leave early with a picnic
basket for a game drive in the Kruger National Park. Golf, tennis,
bowls, trout-fishing, hot-air ballooning and horse-riding are all
available nearby. The Blyde River Canyon – the third largest canyon
in the world and the largest green canyon. Magnificent views from
God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, World’s View and The Three
Rondavels. God’s Window is a spectacular 1000m drop on the edge of
the Escarpment. Incredible views across the Kruger National Park into
Mozambique. Nearby Sabie and Graskop have a superb variety of
interesting rock formations and waterfalls, including the Macmac
Falls, Forest Falls, Lisbon Falls and Lone Creek Falls
