Franschhoek, Western Cape, is a small romantic retreat situated in the heart of Franschhoek,
and offers eight luxurious rooms of different sizes in two adjacent
properties: five in the main house and three in the villa. All three
rooms offer the same features as the main lodge; however, the décor
reflects a more contemporary modern style. The atmosphere is peaceful
and serene. Unwind beside one of the swimming pools soaking up the
African sun, or treat yourself to an aromatherapy or Swedish massage.
Bring your walking shoes, bathing costume, binoculars and comfortable
clothing and you don’t want to leave.

Each
room is en-suite has a unique sense of style and design equipped with TV,
hair-dryer, mini safe, alarm clock, heater and air-conditioning. The
lounge provides our guests with comfort and style while relaxing and

with homemade preserves, bread and other delights on the sunny garden
terrace or in our elegant lounge. Upon request, Gourmet dinners will be
served from a set menu which changes daily. We have a selection of Cape
wines to complement your meal. End a memorable evening with tales,
sipping delicious wines, coffee & liqueurs.
Franschhoek offers the
tourist breath-taking scenery and warm hospitality, world class cuisine
and the finest selection of wines. This is a valley rich in history with
spectacular vineyards covering the mountain slopes settled 300 years ago
by the Huguenots who brought with them their age-old French wine and food
culture. Within the village you can discover the wonderful craft, art
& antique shops and galleries or indulge yourself at the Chocolate
Factory Shop. Huguenot Street is also lined with a variety of restaurants
and coffee shops and has the famous monument and museum to visit as well.
Golf is also an option at the various spectacular courses nearby your
hosts will gladly assist with your reservations. There is hiking,
climbing, fishing, heritage & flora tours, paragliding, tennis,
helicopter rides, cycling, bowls, picnics, vineyard tours and cellar
tours, wine tasting and cheese tasting. It's the perfect base for daily
sightseeing, and Cape Town International Airport is only a 45 minute
drive.
