Palmnut lodge is an up market guesthouse with all rooms en-suite, stocked mini bars, satellite - DSTV, tea and coffee tray, digital safes, telephone and dial-up internet connection points. The fresh water pool invites you to cool off right at the lodge or you can step onto the beach, where life guards and shark nets offer protected bathing and surfing only metres away from the lodge.

The friendly Palmnut lodge staff arrange almost anything from visits to uShaka Marine World  to game and turtle (in season) tours in the St. Lucia Wetlands & surrounding areas, to city bird park & Sharks board tours, as well as chartered fishing trips and harbour cruises. For the energetic, activities include golf, surfing or surfing tuition on the beach, scuba diving resort courses, paddle-skiing and kite surfing are available to mention but a few. Whale and Dolphin sightings from the lodge! If you're thinking about trying out scuba diving for the first time, then sign up for our Resort Course. This consists of a 20 - 30 minute lecture by our qualified diving instructor on the equipment and important diving skills. We then give you an opportunity to get comfortable with the equipment and breathing underwater for the first time on site in the lodge pool, thereafter into the ocean for our first dive.
