Overberg Regions

The Overberg is a wheat and sheep farming area and the gentle rolling hills stretch endlessly from the Indian Ocean at Cape Agulhas the southernmost tip of Africa, to the Langeberg Mountains. Whale watch from Hermanus to San Sebastian Bay at Witsand, visit Greyton with its whitewashed thatched Cape cottages and explore charming, historic Swellendam. Take a trip back in time and stay in some of the historic homesteads and country houses in the area, which offer bed and breakfast.
