Oldenburg Lodge is a historic mountain lodge situated in a dedicated private game reserve.  It overlooks the rolling savannahs of the Modderpoort Valley and the high Maluti Mountains of Lesotho. The theme is a blend of Sandstone Colonial and Ethnic African.  It was designed to bring guests the feeling of peaceful heritage and beauty belonging to this site. Oldenburg Lodge and Game Park is a full service facility offering everything from camping to self-catering cottages to a completely catered and full service Lodge. We have overnight capacity for single visitors or for groups of up to 50. In addition we have a recreation center in development for functions and conventions. This will include a bar and  catering facilities for large groups. There is a shop at the Main Lodge selling African Curios for those special momentos and gifts to take home. Duikerkie Cottage - A Rustic self-catering Cottage that sleeps 4. Eland Cottage - simply designed and a few hundred metres from the bass fishing dam - execellent for those weekend fishing getaways, sleeps 4 comfortably.The Farmhouse is one of our self-catering units and can sleep up to eight people.

Our own entertainments include swimming, game drives and walks, mountain-biking, horse-riding, hiking, bass fishing, braai facilities and guided tours to our precious and historic Rock Art site. We have a library and TV room. Our people are very knowledgeable about things to do and the ecology at Oldenburg.

Local attractions include trips to Lesotho, golf, local restaurants, out-sourced hunting venues including wingshooting and trout fishing in the mountains.
