Old Halliwell was built in the 1830s as a post house on the wagon route from Durban to the interior. After a colourful history it has become a gracious country inn, nestling in KwaZulu Natal`s lush Midlands and combines traditional style and elegance with functional conference facilities. Activities on offer at the Country Inn include in-house massages, trout fishing from two well stocked dams, walks, mountain bike trails, croquet, and birding. Horse riding. Quad Bike Trails can be arranged on nearby farms and there are five great golf courses all within 15mins drive.
