KwaZulu-Natal. Named for the elusive Mountain Reedbuck that roam the
1600 hectares of mountains and green grassland. Nxala Ranch is your
ideal breakaway location for the family or corporate guests. The
thatch-roofed lodge, situated at the foot of the Biggars Mountain,
some 25 kilometres from Dundee (in KwaZulu-Natal), nestles amongst
willow and paperbark trees in the tranquility of a lush, park-like
garden. Nxala Ranch is situated in a malaria free area.

Nxala
Ranch sleeps six people and is fully equipped. All rates include linen
(also towels), cleaning services and laundry service. Two guided game
drives per day (if so requested) as well as unlimited catch-and-release
fishing is also included. None of the rates include liquor. A bar is
available on the premises. It offers three stylish en-suite bedrooms, a
lounge equipped with satellite TV and music system, a modern, fully
equipped kitchen and a spacious "stoep" (veranda) with braai
facilities overlooking the dam which is well stocked with bass. The lodge
provides guests with lovely views across the plain where game and bird
life abound.
Guests
at Nxala Ranch have a choice of activities, from game viewing, fishing,
hiking and horse riding to visiting ancient San rock art. For those
wishing to visit the historic Anglo South African War battlefields of
Isandlwana, Rorke's Drift and Elandslaagte, Nxala Ranch is perfectly
located. Sunset game viewing is an exciting part of your stay at Nxala
Ranch. Game drives can be done in your own 4x4 vehicle or, on request,
guided drives with our 2 game viewing vehicles (Land Rover Defender and a
Unimog for the more adventurous). Nxala Ranch is situated in a 1600
hectare reserve, where the following game can be seen: Kudu, Impala,
Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Black Wildebeest, Springbok, Black
Springbok, Reebok, Mountain Reedbuck, Gemsbok, Bushbuck, Duiker, Blesbuck
and Ostrich.
