Nirvana Guesthouse - Accommodation in

If
you intend to visit the impressive Aughrabies National Falls, the new
inter-state Kalagadi National Park, the Kalahari-desert or the splendour
of the Namakwaland flowers you should deffinately spend some time at
Nirvana Guesthouse in Upington. Nirvana Guesthouse is a family-owed oasis
in the semi-desert area of Upington next to the mighty Orange-river.
Nirvana offers you real South African hospitality and recieved the
sought-after 4palm award from the Upington Tourism Authority. Nirvana
Guesthouse is situated at the edge of Upington on the N14 and has a
wonderful view on the lower Orange-river valley and the vinyards. The
rooms are cosy and very private with separate entrances.

Nirvana
has 6 airconditioned en-suite rooms,multi-chanel tv, swimming pool,
sundeck, stocked bar fridges in rooms (fully licensed), secure
parking, wonderfull breakfast, koi-ponds, waterfeature garden, and
much more. The rooms are of a high standard and are kept in a exelent
condition with coffee/tea making facilities and an electric kettle.
There are a number of very good restaurants within 5minites from
Nirvana or you can do your own braai at our braai-facilities on the
deck or at the pool. (braai-packs, salad and rolls are available on
request).
Nirvana
has a wonderfull pool and sundeck so be sure to remeber bikini or at
least some of it. The Upington 18-hole golf-course and sqaush courts
is about 500metres from Nirvana so you can stay fit.
There is a wide variety of birdlife at and around Nirvana, and a piece
of Kalahari just across the road for those of you who would like to
take a walk with the owner. If you would like we can rent you a 4x4
vehichle and organize a nice outing or even a hunt in wintertime. Upington is strategically situated for visits to the Kgalagadi
Transfrontier Park and the Augrabies Falls National Park. Close to home,
you also find the Spitskop Nature Reserve, providing sanctuary to herds
of Gemsbok, Zebra, Springbok, Ostrich, Eland, Camel and Wildebeest - a
perfect place for a day's outing, picnicking, game drives or even doing
the hiking trails in the Reserve. The Augrabies National Park also offers
a variety of wildlife to see, as well as a variety of hiking trails,
night game drives, Black Rhino, canoeing, mountain biking and river
rafting on the Orange River, below the awesome Augrabies Falls itself.
This is also a land of contrasts, with various scenic attractions and 4x4
trails for the four-wheel drive enthusiast.
