Mountain Park Hotel - Accommodation in

At
Mountain Park there's lots to do. We have our own bowling green, tennis
court and swimming pool, volley ball and badminton courts, croquet lawn
and table tennis. There is also a gym with a sauna and a relaxing spa
bath for those who want too keep fit. Mountain Park has a full stable of
horses and is home to the Mountneys Appaloosa and Paint Horse Stud. Rides
go out every day to all sorts of interesting places. There are fast
horses, slow horses, horses for beginners and ponies for children. The
stables are situated at the hotel and rides leave and return from there.
The large rambling gardens, with ducks sleeping peacefully on the cool,
clear waters of our trout dams, is a picture of rustic tranquility. Here
you can relax and try your luck while the quaint old water wheel spins
the time away.

Every
morning ther are guided walks to waterfalls, caverns and natural forest
where birds abound and bushmen lived. The accent of the hotel is on
comfort and atmosphere, and lots of effort has gone into creating this
with carefully chosen relics from the past such as ancient broadswords
and battleaxes brought from England and Spain. Whether you want to relax
or work out, explore the mountains and gorges, ride, swim or play tennis,
Mountain Park has something for everyone. There is a shady playground for
children and a host of games to keep them enter- tained on rainy days.
There are few places, if any, offering so pleasant an atmosphere with
relaxed informal comfort. The hotel borders on the Bulwer Biosphere
Mountain Reserve which is host to a large and unusual variety of fauna
and flora. An easy two hours drive from Durban and the South Coast,
Mountain Park is easily accesable on tarred raods all the way. In
addition Mountain Park also has a conference room capable of seating up
to forty persons, an indoor squash and basketball court, a bird aviary
and self-catering accomodation. Try our adventures which include
