attractive Edwardian Hotel stands in a side street in the small
picturesque town of Montagu, an oasis in the rough landscape of the
Little Karoo. On arrival, guests are personally welcomed and taken to
their en-suite room or suite. Fresh fruit, chilled water, are among the
compliments that await guests in the rooms or garden.

Mimosa
Lodge offers 9 Classic bedrooms and 7 Suites, all different and
individual, with warm colours and little thoughtful touches as fresh
fruit, chilled water, a decanter with local Muscadel ready to pour, books
and magazines. All suites are situated in the garden, each with a private
patio or balcony. The 9 classic rooms are comfortable and all with
modern en-suite facilities. Some rooms open into the beautiful
garden others are on the first floor level and access the Victorian
verandah. The breakfast buffet offers home-baked and home-made treats
while the cooked breakfast is freshly prepared on individual request.
The
beautifully laid out garden invites to relax and unwind. Listen to the
prolific birdsong, relax in the pool area, or dive for a refreshing swim
into the salt-water, black marbled pool. During those cooler days of the
year, the pool will be heated and you will be able to have a dip all year
round. The Garden stretches out behind the Main House. Take a stroll
through the grounds, to the sweet-scented roses, the apricot orchard, the
Karoo Garden introducing you to the plants, shrubs and bushes from our
semi-dessert area. Guests are able to take advantage of the facilities for
Golf (9 hole, 18 holes in Worcester), Tennis, Squash, Fitness centre and
Bowls. There are also Mountain Bike and 4x4 routes and for the
enthusiast, Rock Climbing faces that are renowned in the Cape. The
Robertson Wine route, a visit to the hot springs and a tractor trip to
the top of Langeberg are just a few of the many adventures to be
experienced.
