From
Medindi Manor, it is just 10 minutes to Cape Town city centre, ten
minutes to the Waterfront and 12 minutes to Cape Town International
airport and 20 minutes to the best beaches. The closest winelands
(Constantia) are 20 minutes away. The Stellenbosch / Franschhoek and
Paarl wine routes start 45 minutes away and make easy day trips, or
lunch trips. Cape Point is an easy scenic drive, as are the whales of
False Bay and Hermanus. The Rondebosch and Mowbray golf courses are 2
mintues from Medindi, and a large number of other courses, sports
facilities are right nearby
Visit
the Cape Peninsula tourist attractions as well as the Constantia,
Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek Winelands. Central Cape Town,
Table Mountain Cableway, the famous V&A Waterfront, the Robben Island
ferry, the Waterkant Village and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. There are excellent facilities to pursue
a very wide range of activities from the most adventurous to the most
relaxing. These include: Abseiling, Horse riding, spectacular hiking
and cycling trails, bird watching at "World of Birds", Game Fishing,
the whole gamut of aquatic sports, Sunset Champagne cruises, Boat
trips to Seal Island and even Whale Watching.
