The closest winelands (Constantia) are 20 minutes away. The Stellenbosch / Franschhoek and Paarl wine routes start 45 minutes away and make easy day trips, or lunch trips. Cape Point is an easy scenic drive, as are the whales of False Bay and Hermanus. The Rondebosch and Mowbray golf courses are 2 mintues from Medindi, and a large number of other courses, sports facilities are right nearby
