Manor on the Bay - Accommodation in  Gorden's Bay, Western Cape, is a 6 en-suite room Guest House situated on the sandy white beach of peaceful Gordons Bay. The house was built in 1862 and served as a summer residence for the famous Beit-family. Oregon floors, high ceilings, the magnificent unsurpassed mountain- and sea view adds to the elegance of this historic manor. The mountain stream, oaks and palm-trees contribute to the tranquillity of the unspoiled garden.

The spacious and uniquely decorated bedrooms all have private entrances, M-Net & Satelite TV, mini-bars, mini-safes, dual air-conditioning, sea-view and some have fireplaces. Comfortably furnished to compliment our biggest attraction - the view of the bay.A traditional English- and health breakfast is served at the swimming pool (weather permitting ) or in the dining room.A snack menu is available throughout the day.

Quality restaurants are within walking distance.There is plenty to do in the area too, golf courses, hiking trails, shopping malls and more white beaches are easily accessible. Horseriding, scuba diving, picnic-baskets and sunset cruises will be arranged on request. Whale watching from the patio is possible between August and November.

Gordon`s Bay is the gateway to the second most scenic route in South-Africa, and is only 30 min. from the Cape Town International airport and 45 min. from the famous Waterfront. Stellenbosch and the winelands are only 25 min. away.
