Priscilla and Noel have been living in their farmhouse for 40 years now - although the land it stands on has been in the family’s hands since 1894 - and have recently made some adjustments to make the rooms all the more comfortable for their guests.

Their citrus and cattle farm is found on the friendly dirt roads between Addo and Kirkwood. The garden, surrounded by citrus groves, blooms with bougainvillaea and an abundance of other flowers and trees. The tiled swimming pool - and an enormous tipuanu tree are two of the garden’s greatest assets, while vine-shaded terraces are the perfect places of repose.

After a rendezvous with the elephants in Addo (only half an hour away) you can be guided through Addo and other game parks in their neighbour’s very comfortable open-top 4X4. When staying at Lupus Den you can be a tourist by day out in the parks and feel a local when back in the fold. Breakfast includes freshly-baked bread (naturally). A true farm B&B with home cooking - hard to beat. Children under 10 no charge, 10 - 12 years 50%.
