Four luxurious bedrooms, each with a private entrance. Situated in a quiet part of the village,
just two minutes walk to the main road, where most of the restaurants and shops are situated.
We offer King-size or twin beds, all of which are extra-length (200cm long). For that extra-special touch, we only use 100% percale cotton bed-linen. Each room is individually furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and tasteful modern pieces.
All rooms feature ceiling fans, tea/coffee making facilities and a personal digital safe.
For the winter months, under-floor heating will keep you warm and cosy. One room features a wood-burning fire, for which wood is provided.
With temperatures soaring during summer, what better way to relax than to laze by the pool, with a bottle of your favourite wine from one of the local cellars. Our pool is heated to the optimum temperature, depending on the season. Even in summer, you will appreciate a few degrees warmer water, allowing you to comfortably swim for longer. Franschhoek offers the
tourist breath-taking scenery and warm hospitality, world class cuisine
and the finest selection of wines. This is a valley rich in history with
spectacular vineyards covering the mountain slopes settled 300 years ago
by the Huguenots who brought with them their age-old French wine and food
culture. Within the village you can discover the wonderful craft, art
& antique shops and galleries or indulge yourself at the Chocolate
Factory Shop. Huguenot Street is also lined with a variety of restaurants
and coffee shops and has the famous monument and museum to visit as well.
Golf is also an option at the various spectacular courses nearby your
hosts will gladly assist with your reservations. There is hiking,
climbing, fishing, heritage & flora tours, paragliding, tennis,
helicopter rides, cycling, bowls, picnics, vineyard tours and cellar
tours, wine tasting and cheese tasting.
