Kuilfontein
Stable Cottages - Accommodation near Colsberg
is perfectly situated as a stopover for travellers from Gauteng and Natal
to the Cape, next to the N1 and close to Colesberg. The historic
racehorse stud and sheep farm has belonged to this family since 1876.The
original homestead was built in 1818, and the present family took
ownership in 1875. It has been an ostrich and sheep farm, and racehorse

Africa's world-famous Karoo lamb. There are still herds of the original
springbuck roaming the plains. Kuilfontein Stable Cottages have a gazebo
for relaxing in the afternoons and one can enjoy a lovely dinner there on
