Enjoy the numberous birds and fynbos (the indigenous flora), including proteas. The nature reserve offers easy walks and there is even a small rowboat for those wanting to go out on the dam.

A Swiss-trained cook heads the Klein Paradijs kitchen. His table d’hôte is a three course meal offering international cuisine based on South African produce. His interest in wines is shown by the excellent wine list. A number of fine vintages have been put aside. A wide variety of schnapps and brandies are available to round off the meal. Both continental and English breakfasts are freshly prepared for your enjoyment. Lazy days can be spent in the garden, at the pool or the beach. En-suite bedrooms with telephone and bar fridge. Also a restaurant, guest bar, hydro and beauty salon, heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, golf course, mountain-biking and walking trails, fishing, beach sports, horse riding.

Klein Paradijs Country House, is an excellent place for a relaxing stopover on the way to or from the Garden Route or a convenient base for hiking, horse riding (on neighboring farm), bird and whale watching (June to November), shark cage diving or visiting out-of-the-way places of attraction. Guests can explore the property on foot, accompanied by an accredited guide if desired, go for a row on the glistening farm dam, or climb the Wolfhuiskop (274 m) for a breath-taking view of the area. Efforts are underway to clear the land of invasive alien vegetation and to reintroduce fynbos wherever possible.
