Established over 100 years ago, King's Grant breathes a unique sense of peace and tranquillity, where one is able to take a step back in time and enjoy a well-earned break from the daily rush of life.

We can currently accommodate up to 16 guests. King’s Grant assures you of an intimate and cosy experience that will make you want to return. The Kings Room is our luxurious honeymoon suite. Originally the monks’ lounge, this spacious rondavel is sumptuously decorated in rich tones, and boasts a free-standing bath half concealed behind romantic drapes.

The dams and wetlands, bushveld, mountain sourveld and farmland provide a rich variety of habitats, which explains the large number of species. They have 3 large dams on site and offer activities such as Canadian canoeing, fishing (Bass, Barbell, and Carp) and sailing. Canadian canoes are available for hire. They encourage the guests to explore the estate and offer a number of walks and mountain biking opportunities with breathtaking views and hidden estate attractions. Picnic Baskets, Sundowners and Braai Packs can be arranged for those wanting to expand on their outdoor experience. Sites such as the deserted Brickfield and Shriba’s Hill viewpoint make an unforgettable and picturesque experience.
