Inverdoorn
game reserve is a 10 000 ha park situated in the Ceres-Karoo, a scenic
2,5 hours drive from Cape Town. En route two beautiful passes - Bains
Kloof Pass at Wellington and Mitchells Pass before Ceres - make the
trip very rewarding. Inverdoorn Game Reserve offers you an unique
experience in the Karoo. Surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges with
the most incredible sunsets and breathtaking skies at night,
Inverdoorn offers you the opportunity to relax close to Cape Town.
Unique in the Western Cape, Inverdoorn Game Reserve hosts the White
Rhino and Giraffe. Of the larger wildlife to be viewed at Inverdoorn,
includes: Lion, Cheetah, Giraffes, White rhinoceros. A large variety
of antelopes including the Kudu, Lechwe, Nyala, Oryx, Zebra, Sable
Antelope can be viewed. Birdlife is abundant - 165 species of birds
were observed. During game drives you will experience a spectacular
sunset from the look-out point whilst sipping on a sundowner. At night
the clear skies with myriads of stars, are absolutely breathtaking!

Take
advantage of our 7 luxurious and beautifully appointed Bungalows. Each
bungalow is specifically designed to offer you the very highest levels
of comfort. All our bungalows are equipped with air-conditioning,
bathrooms, and open fires. Our two apartment buildings will enable you
to discover Inverdoorn with your families: Apartment building 1 has 4
double bedrooms as well as a bathroom and lounge. Apartment building 2
has 3 double bedrooms, bathroom, and a family suite, as well as a
kitchen and lounge area.
Activities
at Iverdoorn includes swimming in the pool, tennis, game viewing and
biking. The Inverdoorn game reserve safaris are of the highest
possible quality and diversity. All our guides are professionally
qualified. Our 4X4 Land Rover Safari vehicles are ideal for
getting you as close as possible to the animals. On our daytime
safaris you will be able to admire at extremely close quarters the
herds of buffalo, giraffe, zebra, lechwe, and other rare antelopes,
and of course, our splendid rhinoceroses. On the evening safari, you
will be served with an aperitif at the highest point on the reserve,
at that special moment when the setting sun floods the sky before
gently sinking behind the mountains, when the animals come to slake
their thirst in the lake in the calm and quiet of the evening. Your
guides will be there to answer your questions and provide for your
needs.
