Currently under development is the "bird and small animal
sanctuary", in conjunction with the local bird and wildlife
associations, as well as experts in nature conservation. The entire
estate will be fenced off - game reserve style - enabling us to
re-introduce small animals and re-habilitate the forest to its previous
pristine state. By doing so, we hope to attract even more birds to
compliment the already abundant bird life and may even be able to find a
mate for our lonesome goliath heron. The sanctuary will encompass 18
hectares with designated eco-trails, footpaths, hides and viewpoints.
