the heart of the well known KwaZulu-Natal Midlands you will find a
delightful small farm in a tranquil setting of hills, forests and
fields. Happy Hills is a peaceful place - a place to unwind and
rejuvenate both body and soul. Delightful gardens, full of colour,
enable you to lose yourself in a horizon of hills and sky, or enjoy a
cream tea beside a peaceful meadow where sheep and horses graze.
Visitors to the Midlands will find Happy Hill a perfect base from
which to explore the Midlands Meander craft route. We are also near to
Midmar Dam, and Howick with its famous falls, and all the leading
schools and colleges.

We
offer nine first class bedrooms all en-suite. Two of the rooms are
family rooms and two have private porches overlooking the meadows. All
rooms have electric blankets, heaters and heated towel rails for those
chilling winter evenings. All rooms have facilities to make tea and
coffee. Provisional bookings can be made here.
The sparkling swimming pool is secluded, perfect for a quiet and
private hour or two in the sunshine and maybe some midday refreshment.
We serve breakfast, light lunches from our Ala Carte Menu and offer
dinners with a cordon bleu touch. The
Midlands Meander near Central Drakensberg is an fascinating mix of
arts and crafts, world-class restaurants and homely comforts, with a
wide range of sporting, environmental and historical pursuits.
We are part of the Midlands Meander with
fishing, trails, walks and golfing, paragliding and horse riding
nearby.
