All rooms have hostess facilities. All the upper level rooms are air-conditioned and in addition the bedrooms have ceiling fans. The lower level bedrooms have ceiling fans. The upper level patio is extensive and has panoramic views of the ocean and the golf course. Golf House has a large open plan lounge with satellite TV and with a stocked honesty bar.  There is a fully equipped kitchen where guests can self cater if their party has booked the entire house. Otherwise guests may use the kitchen to make coffee and tea or prepare a snack. The golf house is fully fenced and there is secure parking. Golf House is known for its hearty breakfast consisting of - fruit juice, fruit platter, cereals, yoghurt, and a choice of eggs with five accompaniments, toast, tea and coffee. However, guests can order a lighter breakfast consisting of fruit juice, platter of fruit, dried fruit, yogurt, cereals, cheese, muffins, bread/toast, tea and coffee. There are also two good restaurants on the beach in Southbroom.

Dennis Hutchinson, veteran pro golfer and TV sport's commentator, describes Southbroom as one of the finest holiday golf courses to be found. It's tough and tight layout through lush coastal bush offers spectacular sea and surf views from the fourth and fifth tees. Renovations have produced wondrous results with water features coming into play on many holes, but be warned, newly constructed greens have increased the difficulty factor! Southbroom offers safe swimming and world-standard life guards. If you should want to perfect your tan in relative privacy, take long romantic walks along perfect shorelines, or experience the hustle and bustle of a family beach. Explore the beautiful nature trails and hikes that abound in the area, and thrill at the abundant bird life. Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve, less than 30 km inland from Port Shepstone, is one of many venues that provide walking trails, riverside picnic spots and excellent birdwatching. For adrenaline lovers, you can try your hand at white water rafting or abseiling amongst some of the regions most spectacular scenery.
