Gateside Guest House - Accommodation in Hilton, KwaZulu-Natal is located one hours drive south gives you the warmth of the popular Durban coast boasting both north and south coasts which host some of the most beautiful beaches in Africa. To the north within easy reach is the splendour of the famous Drakensberg mountains. Gateside consists of spacious and cosy bedrooms, some with fireplaces and include DSTV with M-Net channel (in all rooms), hair-dryers, electric blankets and kitchenettes. Gateside Guesthouse – Comprises of three family units (sleeping 4 persons) and a further unit which can be either for a family or made up as two double rooms. Secure parking is available onsite. Big Studio – (ground floor) Open plan room comprising of two single beds (which can be converted to a King-size double bed), lounge with gas fire-place, dining area and kitchenette. Bathroom en-suite has shower, toilet and wash basin. Small Studio - (ground floor) Double bed, TV and Tea-Tray, shower and wash basin in the same living area with separate toilet. Tree Tops – (1st floor) Cosy Loft style family unit having Queen size bed, two single beds, lounge, dining area and kitchenette. Bathroom ensuite has both shower and Victorian bath. Wall heaters for those chilly evenings. Tiny Gateside – Has an open-plan living space made up of a Queen size bed, lounge (with traditional fire-place), dining area and kitchenette. Bathroom en-suite with shower over a Victorian bath. A separate smaller bedroom with either bunk-beds or one single bed leads off the open plan unit. Also has a private veranda to enjoy those magnificent views

Guests are very welcome to use the salt water swimming pool and relax on the viewing deck in peaceful surroundings. There is also a trampoline and table tennis table for the youngsters. Durban, which has an International airport, is only 50 minutes away so even after a long flight you will soon be at your destination – Gateside Guest House. There is plenty to do in the area too. Walks in the Drakensberg mountains, visits to bushman paintings, horse trails though a private game reserve, canoe trips, canopy tours and the Midlands Meander to mention but a few.
