Cape, is set in a quiet residential road an
easy ten minute walk from the many top class restaurants and varied shops
of Franschhoek. It is an ideal location from which to enjoy the delights
of the many local wine estates for both wine tasting and superb food.
Pleasant gardens and beautiful mountain views surround the house. There
is a sun terrace overlooking the splash pool where a buffet breakfast may
be taken when the weather is fine (which it usually is!).

Erica
Guesthouse has been extensively refurbished during 2004 and re-opened in
January 2005. The guest house has three spacious double and four twin
rooms, including one twin room equipped for the disabled. All bedrooms
are en-suite and comfortably appointed - most having both baths and
showers. All rooms have a ceiling fan, hairdryer, alarm clock radio, fan
heater, courtesy tray of tea and coffee and colour television. A DVD
player is available for hire for a small charge, with a selection of
DVD’s available for guests to borrow. Along with a wireless broadband
internet connection to check those emails!
Soaring
mountains surround Franschhoek
valley - it is hard not to fall under
its spell. Only an hour’s drive from Cape
Town, within half an hour
of Stellenbosch and Paarl, the pretty little town is a celebration of
the world’s best cuisine and many of the restaurants have won both
national and international awards including Reubens and Le Quartier
Francais. Franschhoek is justifiably called the wine and food capital
of the Western
Cape. The renowned Huguenot Museum offers guests the
opportunity to discover the local history of this fascinating valley.
Golf is also an option at the various spectacular courses nearby your
hosts will gladly assist with your reservations. There is hiking,
climbing, fishing, heritage & flora tours, paragliding, tennis,
helicopter rides, cycling, bowls, picnics, vineyard tours and cellar
tours, wine tasting and cheese tasting. It's the perfect base for daily
sightseeing.
