Welcome to Elephant Walk Retreat. Set on a tranquil estate at the Crocodile Bridge entrance to the Kruger National Park, no more than 50 meters from the gate, one could not hope to find a more suitable base from which to explore the wonders of Kruger. A comfortable four-hour drive from Johannesburg, Elephant Walk is the perfect "stopover" on route to Mozambique, or as a destination. This accommodation is in a dorm format with an open plan kitchen. The ablusion is comunal. There are two separate bathrooms. The unit has a braai facility and a colonial type of veranda on three sides of the Boma leading out into a open air Boma area. Max No. of guests: 8. Imvubu (Log Cabin) This luxury en-suite Log Cabin sleeps four persons in comfort on a Kingsize bed and a fold-out sleeper coach. It is fully air-conditioned. Fully self-catering enabled. Guests may also elect to join a qualified Ranger on an open vehicle Game Drive. Outstanding sightings of the "Big 5" will certainly delight our guests. Early morning bush walks into Kruger, is an absolute must, for the serious nature lover. Experience the adrenalin rush when you meet one of the "big five" face to face on the trail. Your bush guides can answer most of your questions. Guests can on request experience the superb cuisine of Elephant Walk, on a half board (Breakfast and Dinner) basis. The resident Portuguese chef specializes in Portuguese cuisine, fresh tiger prawns, char grilled chicken and delicious steaks are all the order of the day. Reservations are essential.
