Ehlathini Bush Camp - Accommodation near Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

Ehlathini is a self catering, or catered bush lodge situated on the boundary of False Bay Provincial Reserve, to the North East of Hluhluwe village. Being in the heart of Zululand makes it very accessible to all the well known Game Reserves (Hluhluwe, Mkuze, Umfolozi, Phinda and the St. Lucia Wetlands). Ehlathini offers comprehensive self catering facilities, as well as a pool and gazebo, and comfortable accommodation in idyllic, stress free surrounds. Our main lodge peeps out of the trees, and from the upper deck has a panoramic view of the lake, it also has a lounge, bar and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and can cater for twenty people. 5 chalets

The camp has five thatched chalets which nestle under a magnificent stand of trees. Each chalet is equipped with two stacked beds (suitable for small children) plus shower and ablution facility. They all have outward facing verandas which offer you complete privacy in the bush. The sparkling pool and gazebo are an alternate entertainment area, much needed in the Zululand summer. We also have barbecue facilities. The camp cleaning staff clean all rooms, make beds and wash dishes.

Ideally situated to explore the area - attractions include Hluhluwe/Umfolozi BIG 5 Game Reserve (20 mins), Sordwana Bay - world class dive and fishing destination (50 mins), Dumazulu Village - Authentic African village tour with Zulu dancing and snake park (40 mins), St.Lucia - boat trips, Crocidile farm, fishing and beach destination (80 mins), False Bay - Fishing and picnic sites in Game Park with guided walks and fossil museum ( 10 mins)
