Enjoy total peace and tranquility in the lower garden where swans and geese glide on a tree shaded pond below a soothing waterfall. Birdlife abounds and the garden is filled with butterfly-attracting plants.

All rooms have TV, telephone, hospitality tray with rusks, a hairdryer, an alarm clock/radio, a comfy chair, a desk and beautiful cotton sheets. Watch the stars from the open air hydro spabath. Relaxing bubble bath and large white towels are available to pamper you. Delicious breakfasts are served on the verandah overlooking the pool and the warm Indian Ocean. Braai facilities, beach towels, chairs and umbrellas are available. We have fax and email service should you really feel the need to keep in contact with the outside world. 

Popular restaurants, shops and library are close by. Sporting facilities, including world class golf courses, are nearby. The more adventurous could head to the nearby Game Reserves or the historic Battle Fields. The famous Shakaland and Simunye Zulu Cultural Resorts are also within easy reach to the north. Shakas Rock is one of a little chain of coastal resorts that run into each other along the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal. From North to South there is Sheffield, Salt Rock, Shakas Rock, Ballito, Zimbali. The area offers outdoor activities, a number of shops, a cinema, library, and many restaurants. It is 60km North of Durban and 45 minutes from the Durban Airport.
