Clovelly Lodge - Accommodation in Fish Hoek, Western Cape. Located in the heart of the Cape Peninsula National Park alongside the warm waters of False Bay, Clovelly Lodge makes an ideal base for exploring Cape Town and its environs. The building looks out across the Silvermine Valley and onto the ocean at Clovelly/Fish Hoek beach. This peaceful mountainside house is surrounded by indigenous gardens flowing smoothly to the adjacent wetland nature reserve. Boardwalks (gradient 1:9) make the building wheelchair accessible. Clovelly Lodge self-catering facilities are a stone's throw from the B&B guest house with owner/managers on hand if you need them.

At the guest house double and twin-bedded rooms are fully equipped with heaters, fans, hairdryers and safes for valuables. One of the double rooms has a private balcony with sweeping views of the valley, sea and mountains. Views can, however, be enjoyed by all from the sundeck adjoining the TV lounge. Crisp, pure cotton linen, luxurious continental pillows, soft bath sheets and beach towels are provided, along with basic toiletries in the en-suite shower rooms. All bedrooms are non-smoking (smokers are welcome to puff on the deck). Rooms are cleaned daily. Self-catering units sleep from 2 to 10 people and are fully equipped with kitchen facilities, TVs/Videos, braais (barbecues) and private gardens. The units have full or partial sea views. 

The decks, patios and gardens around the house give each unit a private outdoor space for braais (barbecues), eating al fresco, enjoying sundowners or just lounging around in the sunshine. The saline pool is enclosed to make the area safer for children. The Lodge backs onto nature reserve with excellent hikes as well as pot-holing, climbing and caving. Tennis, horse-riding, hiking, surfing, whale-watching and boat trips, fishing, diving and outstanding scenic drives are nearby. The Clovelly Country Club's championship 18-hole golf-course is just next door - Simon's Town, Westlake and Steenberg golf-courses are just 10 minutes drive.
