Each individually decorated themed room captures the imagination and feeling of a far-away place. Our guest rooms feature generous sized mattresses (singles, queen and king), 100% French goose down pillows and duvets, fine quality cotton linens and blankets to ensure your nightly comfort. Cedar Manor also features The Cottage which offers a self-catering option or as a wonderful relaxing guest house option for friends and entertaining. Set amongst a lush garden abundant with bird wildlife, pristine swimming pool and views of the Outeniqua Mountains. The Cottage has been designed with wheelchair accessibility in mind. The entrance includes a ramp to and from The Cottage and the ability to relax and enjoy the outdoor gardens and pool. The kitchen is also designed for easy accessibility.

Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room in the manor house or al fresco on the veranda which over looks the gardens and stunning Outeniqua Mountains. The breakfast selection includes a fresh country style meal, a selection of deli cold-cuts, cheeses and fresh breads or a lighter alternative of cereals, fruits, and yoghurts. Enjoy some of the activities that make South Africa famous around the world. For your convenience, Cedar Manor operates a VW Microbus which can comfortably transport 6 passengers along with a Venter Trailer for all your necessary golf accoutrements. Advanced bookings at most all of the golf courses are essential; especially during our peak holiday season (October to April). Feel free to seek our assistance with arrangements for transportation and or golf bookings. The town of George is home to the world famous Outeniqua Choe-Tjoe Train and Railway Museum. Visit the Cango Caves, ostrich farms or spend the day at the closest beach, Victoria Bay - only 10 km away. Fairview is ideally located as a base for day trips to Knysna (30 minutes drive away), Oudtshoorn (1 hour's drive) and Mossel Bay (40 minutes drive).
