Mpumalanga, owned by Robert and Nelia Buckler is a small private
informal lodge in a stunning setting on the banks of the Crocodile River
overlooking the Kruger Park. You will fall in love with it at first sight.
Laze around the pool and watch the game or drive into the Kruger just 10
minutes away. In less than an hour you can be on the Mozambique coast or
in the mountains of Swaziland….the choice is yours.

All
bedrooms have picture windows overlooking the river and park. Wake up
in the morning to the sounds of the bush and the views down the river.
The bedrooms have individual remote air conditioning for you comfort
and a private bathroom with Tea/Coffee trays provided. Dinner on
request Prawns, Curry, Braai just name it or they can book a table at
a nearby restaurant. The self catering suite has one or two bedrooms
with bathrooms depending on your requirements and a fully fitted
kitchen. A lounge adjoins with your own DSTV and leads onto a large
patio area. On the patio you have a log table with chairs, sunloungers
and a braai which is only meters from the pool.
Day
safaris with a professional guide are available by prior booking. Our
guides are highly qualified, informative and fun to be with. These
safaris are available in an air-conditioned 4x4. The rate includes the
park entrance fee and a light breakfast. Soft drinks and mineral water
are provided in the vehicle. Open vehicle game drives are available for
parties of 4 guests or more by prior booking. Night drives are available
in an open vehicle with professional guides. These drives are conducted
in a open vehicle in the Kruger National Park where lions, leopards,
hyena and many other animals are often viewed while hunting.
Rhino Walking Safaris. This activity involves tracking White rhino
on foot with an experienced guide. Once a rhino or group of rhino has
been found, the guide will take you in closer to view the sighting on
foot. The objective will be to view the animals without impacting on
their natural behavior and sensitivity to the animals is top priority.
This experience is exciting, and exhilarating, as you will experience
what it feels like to be just another animal in Africa’s wilderness.
All aspects of the bush around you will be absorbed and discussed
which will let you discover all the finer details of the bush that
usually are missed while in a vehicle.
