Manor is a small privately owned and run guesthouse/ B&B in the
vicinity of Nottingham
Road , Natal
Midlands (Kwazulu
Natal). It is
surrounded by the outskirts of the Drakensberg
Mountains at an altitude
of 1500m above sea level. It takes about a 4,5 hours drive from
Johannesburg or a 1,5 hours drive from Durban to Bramleigh Manor. Off
the beaten track, you will experience the peace and tranquil environment
amidst unspoilt nature. This thatched manor house has 2 apartment-like
suites (fully serviced) with own entrances and patios overlooking the
wonderful garden and the indigenous forest.

Bramleigh
Manor has two apartment- like suites semi- attached to the manor
house, both with their own entrance, own lounge, TV, own fireplace,
own kitchenette. Both have a double bedroom with en-suite full
bathrooms and private patio with braai facility, overlooking the
garden and forest. Fully serviced. One suite also offers another
bedroom with bunk beds and 2 single beds for children.A full English
breakfast is served in the elegant breakfast/dining room in the manor
house. Lunch or dinner served on request Guests are welcome to bring
their own wine, etc.

Drakensberg is an fascinating mix of
arts and crafts, world-class restaurants and homely comforts, with a
wide range of sporting, environmental and historical pursuits.
It is easy to plan a circular trip to explore this fascinating area.
The majestic Drakensberg Mountains can be seen from many places and
are especially beautiful when covered in snow. Historic
Pietermaritzburg and Howick are near to drive. Midmar
Dam is also
nearby and offers yachting, fishing and bird watching. Bushman's
paintings can be found in the Kamberg
game reserve and both reserves
are a lovely outing for the day.
