Boulders Beach is home to the African Penguin colony of Boulders Coastal Park where you can observe these vulnerable birds in their natural habitat.
The African penguin colony remains the prime attraction for our guests. The penguins are plentiful and have adapted to a co-existence with humans thus enabling you to observe these vulnerable birds in their natural environment.

Today the area provides excellent viewing spots for whales as well as penguins, and also features popular bathing beaches.Try scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, mountain biking, walking or simply enjoy basking in the sun and taking a leisurely swim with the company of a penguin at the magnificent Boulders Beach.Famous Cape Point is only 10 km away and can be visited via car or bicycle. As home of the South African Navy, Simon's Town is steeped in history, with cobbled roads and quaint cottages adding to it's charm.
