BONA BONA is situated on the N12 between Klerksdorp and Wolmaransstad and was proclaimed a Game Farm in 1993. This area, with it’s wide variety of fauna and flora, consists of approximately 1 600ha bushveld and gives you an experience which is a true reflection of the ecosystem that we are in: an ecological tapestry of Acacia veld, Rosyntjiebos and abundant wildlife. BONA BONA also has an airstrip (27°1’272”S and 26°13’842”E) available for guests who wish to fly in. Please note that should you want to make use of this, you should first contact the farm.

The exclusive, rustic lodge accommodating 28 people in 14 twin room chalets, offers comfortable, tastefully decorated en-suite accommodation to both local and international tourists, business men and women, as well as to those who wish to experience a peaceful breakaway or stop-over in a relaxed, awe-inspiring natural environment. Our Bush Camp is the ideal breakaway for the adventurous nature lover. The camp consists of six thatched chalets with accommodation for twelve people, ablution block and a thatched open air kitchen fully equipped with gas fridge, gas stove, cutlery and crockery.

BONA BONA is the ideal venue for weddings, conferences, executive brain-storming, team-building, workshops, bosberade, private meetings and special occasions. Groups of up to 150 people can be hosted in different venues, depending on the group size. In addition to a large diversity of antelope such as the nyala, bushbuck, reedbuck, sable, kudu, eland, red hartebeest, waterbuck etc. BONA BONA is also the home to three of the Big Five. Rhino, Buffalo and Lion as well as the endangered African wild dog. BONA BONA offers guests a wide variety of activities such as game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, organized hikes, photographic excursions and horse riding. Our experienced guide will accompany you ensuring that these excursions will bring you in to the closest possible contact with nature. For the bird watcher, the bird life offers a wide diversity of species. Smaller mammals and fascinating reptiles also add to the diversity of wildlife.
