Blommenberg Guest House is situated in the Golden Valley of the Olifants River - with the Atlantic Ocean 60km to the west and the Cedarberg directly to the east. The town is one of the ten oldest in South Africa and rich in cultural and historical heritage: the restored Dutch Reformed church where the annual wild flower exhibition is held; the old drostdy and prison; the Strassberger shoe factory; the Rooibos tea factory; the Ramskop wild flower reserve and the Kunshuis (art gallery). Every year Clanwilliam shares in the display of wild flowers in spring time, when the land becomes one under a mantle of brilliant colours. It is furthermore part of the "fynbos" area and home to the Clanwilliam cedar and Snow protea.

There are twelve en-suite rooms. All are quiet, spacious & airy, overlooking our lush court yard and swimming pool. All the rooms have: television, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, airconditioning and/or celing fans, heating in winter. Four rooms are fully equipped for self-catering. All have mountain views and a shady garden with braai facilities. Shady off-street parking bays are available as well as a lock-up garage
