The spacious en-suite rooms are beautiful decorated with European Antique and African Style! The rooms, all with private entrance, are fully equipped with all modern conveniences: desk, T.V, bar fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, hairdryer and private patio. For the more romantically inclined, our Honeymoon suite is just what you need. A scrumptious breakfast is served in the guesthouse and other meals are available on request. Avondrust offers also a self catering cottage (with own private entrance) contained: 2 separated rooms, sharing 1 bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette with stove and microwave, coffee/tea facilities, fridge, TV, soccer table.

The peaceful village of Saldanha is a mere 90 minutes drive from Cape Town and within easy reach of all the other West Coast villages. Saldanha and surroundings are well known for water sport enthusiasts as well as eco-tourism: fynbos, wetlands, strand fields, wildflower spectacle annually. We gladly assist you in the overwhelming choices of day & half-day tours, whale & dolphin watching excursions as well as bird watching cruises, fossil park visits, scenic hiking trails, horse riding, golf courses, good restaurants and other interesting places to visit.
