Excellent restaurants are within seven minutes walk from the guest house. Alternatively one could stroll to a wine farm for some wine, and on the way back stop at the fromagerie for cheese and bread to enjoy at Auberge Bligny - the kitchen, dining room and pool area are always at the disposal of guests. Jack, a descendant from the French Huguenots (who first settled in the valley) invites you to use his charming guest house as a base from which to explore the Winelands and much of the Western Cape.

Huguenot Street is also lined with a variety of restaurants and coffee shops and has the famous monument and museum to visit as well. Golf is also an option at the various spectacular courses nearby your hosts will gladly assist with your reservations. There is hiking, climbing, fishing, heritage & flora tours, paragliding, tennis, helicopter rides, cycling, bowls, picnics, vineyard tours and cellar tours, wine tasting and cheese tasting.
