Four luxury and one deluxe thatched lodge, all with superb en-suite bath and shower facilities, open fireplace and private patio, will ensure that your stay is well worthwhile and memorable. The aim is to recreate a bygone era, where wild animals will once again roam freely. Two years ago a programme was started to reintroduce antelope to the reserve. An informative game drive will give you the opportunity to experience the game at a closer range. For the bird enthusiast, Amathunzi offers a chance to observe many varieties of bird life - from the endangered Black Eagle to the lesser doubled collared Sunbird.
