Directions

From PTA/JHB take the N4 to Nelspruit. Turn off at Belfast, drive through Belfast, at Dullstoom sign turn right (at second 4 way stop). Follow road for approx 22km, turn left at the Uitvlugt sign. Drive 5km on this dirt road and turn right at Uitvlugt Ponds - Ama Poot-Poot sign.

Old Big Foot Hiking Base Camp

Two bedrooms (sleeps 24 persons) with electricity, braai and lappa as well as a comfortable kitchen with gas appliances, pots, pans etc.
Ablution facilities with hot water showers.
A lounge with cosy fireplace for those cool Dullstroom winter nights.

Hiking only.

Evening Rise Cottage

The well equipped six sleeper (eight with sleeper couch) stone cottage with three bathrooms - two en suite - is the perfect getaway for a little peace and relaxation. The self-catering cottage overlooks three trout dams and has inside braai facilities, large fireplace and sheltered parking.

Staying at the cottage, one is permitted to fish in three well stocked dams, go on any of the hiking trails and game walks, or simply relax and unwind in an exclusive and tranquil environment. Additional activities include game drives, clay pigeon shooting and hunting (all incur additional costs, please enquire before your stay).

Big 5 Rondavel

A new addition to the tranquillity of Uitvlugt Ponds is the Big 5 Rondavel.
This self-catering 2 sleeper is fully equipped and offers all the advantages of the larger Evening Rise Cottage.
Breakfast is available on request for an additional fee.
