
DescriptionWelcome to Notting Hill Lodge. Set in the Midlands Meander where there is a multitude of Arts and Crafts.The Lodge comprizes ten (10x) en-suite suites, set in various buildings and settings. All suites have their own bathrooms, their own separate furnished patios, and their own separate external entrances. All the suites are different in furnishings and layout, yet all cover a high level of comfort and spaciousness. All suites have a full compliment of linen ( and spare blankets ), towelling, soaps, fans, and electric blankets ( with dual controls ). Each suite has it's own coffee facilities, 54-cm TV with SABC + 'e' + Mnet(open-time), selection of magazines, and patio furniture cushions. Five suites are in the main farm house, co-located with the guest lounge and dinning rooms - set into the English gardens. A new suite is set in an open garden amongst some fruit trees. The four Stables suites are upon a small bank - with the best views of the Balgowan valley and adjacent farms. The gardens and bush on the farm has been opened to allow free access to the buck ( plentiful ), and other wild animals that traverse the area. DirectionsFrom Johannesburg = take the R103 old road off the Mooi River South toll exit, and follow the road through Rosetta, Nottingham Road, down to Balgowan, 1Km past Born-In-Africa... From Durban = take the Howick North / Tweedie offramp, and follow the R103 old road up through Lions River to Balgowan, 2Km past Michaelhouse School.
